“House of the Dragon” season 2 is scheduled to start in the summer – that much was already known. But now the start time has been narrowed down further. You can find out when the new episodes will be broadcast.
“House of the Dragon” Season 2 will air on HBO and Max in June 2024. So you don’t have to wait too long for the new adventures of Rhaenyra Targaryen and Co. Unfortunately, an exact date has not yet been set.
The news was reported by US Magazine Variety revealed by Warner Bros. Discovery CEO for streaming and gaming, JB Perrette. Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra Targaryen) has now shared the good news on Instagram.
This is what awaits you in season 2 of “House of the Dragon”
Season 2 of the “Game of Thrones” spin-off shows how the Targaryen family war, called Dance of the Dragons, continues to escalate. Both Rhaenyra and her half-brother Aegon II have been crowned queen and king and now it must decide which of them will end up on the Iron Throne.
Also in season 2, in addition to D’Arcy, we will also see Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Tom Glynn-Carney, Sonoya Mizuno, Rhys Ifans, Harry Collett, Bethany Antonia, Phoebe Campbell, Phia See Saban, Jefferson Hall and Matthew Needham again.
But some new members for the cast were also announced. Clinton Liberty (“Normal People”) takes on the role of Addam from Holk, while Jamie Kenna (“Coronation Street”) plays Ser Alfred Ginster. We also see Kieran Bew (“Warrior”) as Hugh, Tom Bennett (“After Life”) as Ulf, Tom Taylor (“The Bay”) as Lord Cregan Stark and Vincent Regan (“Poldark”) as Ser Rickard Thorn. Also appearing are Gayle Rankin (“Glow”), Freddie Fox (“Slow Horses”), Simon Russell Beale (“Penny Dreadful”) and Abubakar Salim (“Raised by Wolves”).
