The Epic Games Store delivers a new feature that gamers have long wanted. You can Play now on your personal wish list. We show you what the new feature brings and what it can (currently) not do.
What can the wish list do?
If you want to add a game to your wish list, select it in the store and click on the "Buy now" button Heart symbol. You can now find the game in the browser on your wish list page or when you click your name in the bottom left corner of the launcher and then select »Wishlist«.
You can now view all the games that you previously marked with the heart on one page, there see their prices and whether they are currently on offer.
What can the wish list not do (yet)?
You currently still get no email notificationwhen there is a discount for wishlist titles. However, Epic assures on the website that the feature will be added in a later version.
Also, your wish list its own search function with filters that will help you to find certain marked titles.
The competition with Steam continues
The Epic Store cannot avoid being constantly compared to its largest sales competitor Steam. And this comparison has so far been in favor of Steam in terms of game selection and feature variety.
However, considering the fact that Steam is only nine years after its release introduced e-mail notification for wish list items in 2003 and the Epic Store only started in 2018, they are not too late to add their features.

Steam is still optimizing its shop to this day and regularly adding new functions such as a drastically improved search function or the new news hub. So you can count on the fact that the Epic Store does not declare its optimization finished by adding a wish list.
