How finished is GTA 6? Several insiders currently contradict each other on this question. While a Kotaku report said Rockstar Games' new gangster epic is still in an "early stage of development," another leak is now contradicting this claim.
The source is no stranger: The new statement comes from Chris Liberty. He had previously made correct predictions about Rockstar and its brands. For example, he predicted the split between Dan Houser and Rockstar Games. He was also able to shoot a video in the developer's rooms.
These are indications that he has connections to the studio. Chris Liberty's original French video has since been removed. However, the information from this can still be found on Reddit.

- Development started in 2014: The Kotaku report claimed that GTA 6 was still in an early stage of development. Liberty, on the other hand, says the game was in pre-production in 2014. In the meantime, it is said to be 60 to 70 percent fully developed.

Confusion about GTA 6: who is right now?
In terms of game size the statements of Liberty and Schreier coincide. Both explain that the title will be "pretty big". So if GTA 6 is more manageable than the fifth part, it does not mean that it will be really small.
In addition, there is always the possibility that it will appear as a more compact title, but will be expanded with updates or DLC over time – in the style of GTA Online and as already considered in the report by Kotaku.
