Steam throws out discounts so often that “sale” has almost become the norm. If there isn’t a big action going on, then a Midweek Madness or a publisher sale is guaranteed. With so many bargains, your own library will of course grow faster than daisies with the first sunshine.
Some prefer to rename the notorious Pile of Shame to their Pile of Joy – this is where all the games you bought in passing are stacked up. Because this time we will definitely play it soon, honestly! And then it gathers dust in the library, forgotten and uninstalled. Happens to all of us, don’t worry.
And then there are regular free promotions or Free2Play games that you can grab without obligation!
How high is your Steam mountain?
We want to know from you the status of your Steam collection. So feel free to take part in our survey! You can easily find your total number of games in the Steam library, just remember to hide any family sharing.
Here you can vote for the rough number of your Steam games. Thank you for your diligent participation!
We’re very curious to see what the average result will be in the GameStar community. Loud SteamSpy the global average for all Steam users (which should also include bot accounts) is 10 or 11 games – we offer more than that, don’t we?
Also, if you like, tell us more in the comments! The bare numbers are statistically very exciting, but we find it much more interesting, for example, how many of your games you actually play. Whether you regret purchases from time to time or still like to hit sales. Or is your Steam collection maybe totally manageable?
Here’s another bonus question for the comments: Are you more of a Pile of Shame faction or a Pile of Joy faction? Does the unplayed Steam mountain annoy you or are you proud of your personal collection? Let us know in the comments below the article! No matter how high your Mount Steam is, we wish you a relaxing Easter weekend.
