The theories that fans have about the Pokémon franchise are many and very varied, some trying to explain the true origin of the Pokémon world, while others try to discover if there really was a Great War in this universe or not. Whether or not they are true, whether or not they are confirmed, fan theories give us food for thought and on numerous occasions they have us engage very interesting discussions on certain issues that really interest us.
Today we wanted to collect the theory and data of the inhabitants in each Pokémon Region what have you shared an_actual_T_rex on Reddit and in which, he points out, the need for the simplification of these data to give life to the location of the Game Freak saga. That is, to understand a place we do not need to be told how many people we can meet, but it comes with taking a visual the number of routes and the size or complexity of the cities that make up each Region. If you think you have any relevant information or comments to contribute, don't be shy and let us know as soon as possible.
Inhabitants in Kanto
In the First Generation Pokémon it could be estimated that we have about 50 million people living in Kanto
Inhabitants in Johto
Johto would become the second region with more inhabitants of this macro-region with 30 million people inside and with two important nerve centers, Trigal City (5 million) and Olive City(900,000). This would be a less populated region than Kanto, but even so, its density would be quite high, with cities that exceed 500,000 inhabitants, although it seems that only Ciudad Trigal could be considered as a mega-city.
Inhabitants in Hoenn
She is serious the least populated region of the first 4, with a total of 6 million inhabitants probably due to its larger rural area with a somewhat more dispersed population. Still I would have cities like Portual City (800,000) and Ferry city (300,000), but in general the populations would be around 100,000 inhabitants or a little memos.
Inhabitants in Sinnoh
The Fourth Generation would be the third of which includes the macro-region of which we have spoken previously, with a total of 10 million inhabitants and with two main nerve centers, Jubilee City (1 million) and Canal City (300,000). According to the games, this is the Most remote and least modernized region of the first four, with the exception of Jubilee City, as it would be the place with the most bustle in this location and is the headquarters of one of the world's leading technology companies
Inhabitants of Thessaly
Teselia is undoubtedly one of the regions of the games with more inhabitants, we could estimate that they would reach 200 million and it would also be much bigger than Kanto or Johto, considering the different climatic areas that it houses inside. Attending their cities, Porcelain City gold would be carried in this region, as it is the most densely populated and is based in New York, so you could say it has about 14 million inhabitants; else, Black City I would have a somewhat more modest figure and I would be hovering around 5 million approximately.
Inhabitants in Kalos
Kalos is a Region that takes its inspiration in France and leads her to an almost literal expression of her cities and places, so she could be associated with 70 million inhabitants with quite populated cities like Luminalia City (4 million) and Relief City (2 millions). Considering that Luminalia is based in Paris, it would be nice to assume that it would have the same inhabitants as the City of Light, but knowing that Pokémon cities are more urbanized than ours
Inhabitants in Alola
To the it is not a very populated region and I would have approximately 3 million inhabitants, distributed in highly concentrated urban centers such as Kantai City (500,000) or Hauoli City (200,000), but with a very rural territory in general or that, directly, is wild land. This is somewhat similar to what happens in Hawaii, islands that inspired the creation of Alola.
Inhabitants in Galar
Despite the fact that this region is based in the United Kingdom, it is a Region much larger than the British country and, in fact, it is the largest location in size to date. Thus, it could be estimated that Galar would have 400 million inhabitants, because it has places with a fairly high population, either Leading City (10 million) that is Piston City (5 million), among others. I personally disagree a bit with this point. Although it is true that it is a really huge Region, it has widely scattered inhabited nuclei and an incredibly vast wilderness area, so I would establish some 90 or 100 million inhabitants for Galar, a little less than Unova, because despite being smaller this much more urbanized.
