The PlayStation 5 has not yet reached our rooms and not much is known about it, except fan theories about its DualShock controls or that its exclusive games will not be compatible with PS4. Despite our ignorance about the next-gen from Sony it is inevitable to think of what will become of the PlayStation 6 of the future.
Evidently, everything that is rumored they are only mere conjecture and speculation, but given that the life cycles of the console generations seem to decrease over time, it would not be unusual to see that the PlayStation 6 arrives in 2026-2027
But considering the leaps and bounds that technology takes in short periods of time and the need that our society seems to have for quality jumps to be quantitative and qualitative in just a few years, is understandable why Sony would bet on a cycle between shorter consoles
If there are already processors like the Apple Bionic A12X that do not need ventilation or cooling and are as powerful as an Xbox One S, imagine what we could see in a console of the year 2026-2027. The safest thing is that it is a jump so big and so huge that we still can't really imagine. We believe that the PlayStation 6 will not follow a line as continuous as the PS5 and is more than possible to establish a new generation full of novelties in every way.
