Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is full of mythical stories and Easter eggs. These include several references to the ninth century Engl and Lord of the Rings
Even based on that Shire and Hobbingen – the residence of the hobbits – is represented in the game world. And to avoid misunderstandings, Ubisoft has hidden the “One Ring” in Hobbiton. We’ll show you where to look to find the Shire and the Ring in AC Valhalla.
Here you can find the Shire
Quasi-Hobbiton is represented as a small settlement in AC Valhalla. You have to travel all the way to the west of the game world. There you will find the city in the Glowecesterscire region Glowecester. On the western side, on the opposite side of the river, is the Valhalla version of the Shire.
Not small hobbits live there, but rather ordinary people. You can still find a reference to the lovable people.

This is how you find the ring
First, stand in the middle of the settlement. Now use your special view (standard: hold down key V) to a Building with a locked door to find. Do not be confused by the other locked doors that you can only knock on.
The door you are looking for needs a key. If you use the special view again near the house, you will see that the Keys in a box just behind the hut
At the desk you will find a letter and an envelope with one golden ring thereon. By now at the latest, viewers of the Lord of the Rings films should also realize that this is a reference. The content of the letter even speaks of “little people” and a “druid” – the latter probably means the magician Gandalf.
Of course, that’s not all you can learn about British tales and folklore in the game. Other mythical figures appear, for example, in the form of a black dog in AC Valhalla, who even had a guest appearance with the British novel detective Sherlock Holmes.
