We are not exaggerating when we say that many FromSoftware fans have wasted years of their lives trying to obtain certain items and Elden Ring is no exception. The open world was the only thing the souls family was missing to finally plunge the players into madness. There are so many objects hidden behind secrets that it is impossible not to leave something behind.
The new DLC of Fire Ring, Shadow of the Erdtree, is no exception. It introduces a good amount of weapons, armor and crafting items, among others. 90% of everything we add to the inventory ends up falling into complete oblivion and you know what the saying goes: one man’s trash is another’s treasure.
In case you didn’t know, you can trade with other players on Fire Ring. Although it cannot be done with all objects, it can certainly be helpful when it comes to obtaining certain pieces that we overlook or lose. Of course, you need to meet certain conditions: be connected to the internet, play on the same platform and have a friend willing to negotiate. You just have to follow these steps:
- Login to Elden Ring.
- Multiplayer menu and both set a password: 123, for example.
- After agreeing on a location, such as the initial Grace of Shadow of the Erdtreeone must use Sinluz’s Bent Finger and another the Bent Finger Remedy.
- Once together, simply drop the object and have the other person pick it up.
It has no more mystery, as you can see in the video. My partner, Juan Sanmartín, has agreed to get rid of the White Mask to exemplify this guide. This helmet is missable and can only be obtained before killing Mohg, Lord of Blood. After this, the only ways to get it are by trading or starting a New Game+. There are several channels on Reddit dedicated to trading, such as PatchesEmporium.
