Manufacturers reveal affordable models in advance
Huawei will not release the P40 and P40 Pro until March 26 in Paris. However, Huawei P40 Lite will be purchased in advance starting March 17. The computing power and charging speed of mid-range smartphones are particularly outstanding.
Huawei accidentally released the Huawei P40 Lite in Spain. The reasonably priced branch of the forthcoming Huawei P40 will be pre-sold there from March 2. Price: € 299. According to Netzwelt, in Germany, pre-sale will begin on March 17. The price of mid-range smartphones in this country remains to be seen. However, we expect prices to be similar to Spain. This will not only make Huawei P40 Lite 60 Euros cheaper than its predecessor, but also really value for money.
Kirin 810
Because technically speaking, Huawei P40 Lite is superior to current mid-range smartphones. This is already evident in the processor. Here, Chinese manufacturers rely on the new Kirin 810 chip. Like the high-end Kirin 990 processor, the processor is now manufactured using an advanced 7-nanometer process. As shown in the benchmark comparison below, it is also used in the recently launched Honor 9X Pro and offers impressive performance there.

Explanation: Geekbench and Antutu are popular tools for measuring the computing power of smartphones. A higher score means better results in both benchmarks. In Geekbench single-core testing, the processor is tested only with the active core; in multi-core testing, all available computing cores are included.
Quad lens camera and new design
The back of the phone has a quad camera, which consists of a 48-megapixel camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and two 2-megapixel sensors. One is used as a depth gauge and the other is used for macro photography. Huawei has integrated the fingerprint sensor into a switch on the right side of the smartphone.
The cheaper branch of the Huawei P40 offers a 6.4-inch display. Huawei put the P40 Lite's front camera in a hole instead of a nick. Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro are also expected to adopt similar designs.

The smartphone draws energy from a 4,200 mAh battery. According to the Spanish online magazine "Viatea" that has tried the P40 Lite, thanks to the new 40-watt charging technology, it will charge up to 70% in 30 minutes. So far, such high charging speeds are unique in the price range.
Android 10 is the operating system and has been included in Huawei's user interface EMUI 10. However, you must not use Google services. Due to the US embargo, these devices were not pre-installed on the device.
