Before the official release, Huawei P40 and P40 Pro datasheets have been released online. If the information is correct, the camera smartphone will run out of memory.

Because Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro both only provide 8 GB of RAM. In the basic configuration, both phones also only offer 128 GB of device memory; according to the data sheet / leak on the disclosed platform, the Pro model also offers 256 GB of memory.

It's less! For example, Oppo offers 256 GB of Find X2 in the basic configuration, while Pro models offer 512 GB. Samsung also sells the Galaxy S20 Ultra with 512 GB of device memory. Both smartphones have up to 12 GB of working memory. After all, you will be able to expand the memory of Huawei phones in the future-but this requires Huawei-developed NM cards. The P40 and P40 Pro obviously do not have a microSD card slot.
