Huawei will showcase the Huawei P40 and Huawei P40 Pro at an online event on March 26. However, two top smartphones appeared before the Thai National Broadcasting and Telecommunications Commission [NBTC]. These documents confirm not only the names of the two phones, but also the internal use of the names "Anna" and "Elsa".

The model names are "ANA-NX9" and "ELS-NX9". Online magazine PhoneArena reported back in January that Huawei internally named the device after the main character of the Disney movie Frozen. But why isn't clear. In addition, the documents show that both phones are available in 5G versions. There are rumors that Huawei will also sell these two phones as pure 4G phones.
However, the NBTC file did not disclose any more technical details. Therefore, it is unclear what Huawei hopes to use large pill-shaped openings on the display. However, recently, the Chinese manufacturer emphasized that the Huawei P40 will once again focus on the camera and promise to create a new photo miracle.
