Huawei P40 Pro: new camera details confirm sensor resolution

The Chinese manufacturer will also showcase an improved camera with the Huawei P40 Pro. The only question is whether Huawei will participate in the megapixel competition between Samsung and Xiaomi. New information now confirms the number of megapixels.



Huawei is now known for its excellent phone camera. Although the main sensor of the Samsung Galaxy S20 Ultra or the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 10 Pro is set to up to 108 mega-pixels, the Huawei P40 Pro may be easier.

As confirmed by a new leak on Weibo, Huawei should rely on a Sony IMX700 sensor with a resolution of 52 megapixels. This is less than half of the aforementioned flagship stores. Still, the new camera in the Huawei P40 Pro should have an edge over the Galaxy S20. We can only say with certainty whether the new Hauwei flagship product was really so when it came out.
