A sort of Huge Apex Legends leak happened overnight Nine upcoming characters, skins, new maps and more for everyone to see. If legal, these leaks appear to be ruining Apex Legends updates for the next year or two.
Originally uploaded to R/ApexUncovered, a subreddit dedicated to leaks and data mining for the popular battle royale, originally reported by CharlieIntel, the leaks came in the form of folders containing details of many of the files that will soon be added to the game . The folder has since been deleted, but its contents have been archived and republished, meaning these leaks will be left to anyone who takes the time to find them.

The most notable of these leaks is the character selection screen, which features nine currently unreleased characters and their abilities. The most detailed of these comes in the form of Newcastle, a new saga with unique models suggesting they are the next characters to be released, as the other eight are currently training dummies.
Next up is the new map. The spotlight is mostly on the full battle royale map called Divided Moon, but there are also a number of new arena maps at various levels of completion.
And then there are the heirlooms! The leak shows the heirlooms of Crypto and Valkyries. The former and the electrified sword are the closest to complete idle animations and colors, while Valkyries is a spear with no texture work or many animations done.
The last major leak was new weapons, two of which have been revealed. The first is a repeating assault rifle called the Nemesis, which uses energy ammo. There’s also a new laser sight attachment that appears to reduce the spread of hip fire, although the full details of how exactly that works are not yet known.
What we’ve mentioned here is just part of the full leak, in order to surprise those who don’t want to suck all the shocks out of future updates. But that’s not to say you have to do a lot of digging to find these things online. Much of this is sure to change before it’s officially announced, which is sure to affect community expectations and the morale of the game’s staff, as would be expected from any unfinished content that appeared online before its time.
We reached out to Respawn Entertainment representatives for comment, but have yet to hear back.
