Despite the business surrounding Palworld, the Pokémon-like game will continue to improve with a new patch very soon. We have the first images and details about this update.
Palworld, often referred to as “Pokemon with weapons,” has not gone unnoticed, especially in the eyes of Nintendo and those of The Pokémon Company. Faced with the tidal wave of independent games, the two Japanese companies filed a patent infringement lawsuit. For its part, the studio has decided to take legal action against it, while Nintendo and The Pokémon Company are seeking an injunction against the game to block it and are each demanding 5 million yen in damages.
Palworld update for December 2024 released
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet doesn't have to feel particularly threatened, but the success of Palworld still seems to be the source of the complaint. This case will therefore be brought to court on both sides, but in the meantime the Pocketpair studio is working on new content. Despite all the legal problems, a huge update is coming in December 2024. We were able to obtain initial details and also recordings via the Palworld X account.

The tower, which can be seen in one of the photos, is also interesting. The studio will release more information in due course, but says Palworld will benefit from one 25% discount on some platforms. The game actually happens $21.74 instead of $28.99 on PS5 and PC via Steam. There is no discount on Xbox Series X|S, but the title is “free” for Xbox Game Pass subscribers.
