Amplitude Studios will post developer videos to watch footage from the game and provide more information on its new 4X strategy title Humankind.

First bimonthly developer video Humanity Discontinued today, covering why Amplitude wants to make a game and what they want to achieve with it.

Among them, you will also see some new game footage, as well as interviews with studio principal and creative director Romain de Waubert and narrative director Jeff Spock. You will also receive letters from other members of the team.

The next video will introduce the game's different biomes, elevations and more to cover the entire terrain.

The last video announced at gamescom 2019 shows us the avatar system. The system allows you to create your own avatar over time to see how your civilization will evolve from prehistoric times.

In the game, your avatar will develop visually based on the way you play, your achievements, and the way you develop your own culture and civilization. Upgrading the leader through the progress system will allow you to unlock custom looks and show more in multiplayer games with up to 8 players.

The game is scheduled to be released on the PC in 2020, and you should read Alex's title preview.
