Game news Humankind: Amplitude Studios illustrates a large part of the game in a video clip
A few days before the release of Humankind, which was first revealed during gamescon 2019, the Amplitude Studios teams decided to broadcast a five-minute presentation on a part of their game strategy that they consider important.
Fans of strategy games and in particular of 4X, a genre popular thanks to the Civilization license, which refers to its four components (exploration, exploitation, expansion, annihilation), only have to wait a few days. Better still, the title, which has to be released on PC and Stadia on August 17th, will also be available on Xbox Game Pass PC.
To overcome the wait for the title Amplitude Studios wanted to lift the veil on the subject of modernity, for them a very important part of the game by revealing the game mechanics related to the epochs of the last epochs of mankind. An interval that corresponds to one of the six defining epochs of humanity and extends from the First World War to the present.
With this latest video clip, the developers wanted to highlight the immersive aspect of the game and its content. Hence, they take the time to review a handful of the primordial constituents of humanitylike trade, dogfighting, or even the nuclear race in that exact era.
Striving to hold on to certain topical issues, The game introduces a pollution management system which will urge players to find common ground between the different nations and take a number of measures to avoid the disaster.
Even if certain mechanics are of crucial importance for civilization – sorry: humanity – Amplitude Studios title gives you the opportunity to explore a multitude of ways to see how far you can take humanity under what conditions.
