The changes in the Vauban update at a glance:
- Demand All/Forego All buttons: New buttons “Forget All” and “Demand All” have been added to the Crisis tab of the Diplomacy screen to deal with all grudges at once. Forgiving has never been easier…or not.
- Auto Solution Improvements: We’ve added a preview of the damage units will take when the cursor hovers over the Auto-Resolve button. We’ve also made small changes to the auto solution to better reflect army deployments and terrain.
- AI improvements: We’ve reworked how the AI manages Faith, Influence, and early expansion. The AI should be a better opponent now!
- Steam Workshop (Beta): In addition to our cross-platform mod solution mod.io we now also support Steam Workshop. Players can decide for themselves whether they mod.io or want to use Steam Workshop for their mods. Please note: This is currently still a beta.
- Culture Wonder Improvements: We’ve added proximity bonuses to many wonders to encourage players to include them in city planning. Also, Wonders are now cheaper to claim and can be abandoned if a player changes their mind.
