The Southside and the Hurricane Festival 2024 will take place from June 21 to 23. This year’s sister festivals will feature Ed Sheeran, Deichkind, Ayliva, The National, Kontra K, KIZ, Avril Lavigne and many other artists. Those who didn’t manage to get their hands on tickets can watch the live stream.

Southside and Hurricane 2024: Line-up
Since Southside and Hurricane belong together, you will find the same artists at the festivals that take place at the same time. Of course, the concerts of the individual bands will not take place on the same day. In the following Instagram posts you can read which bands will be performing on which day at Southside and Hurricane. Exact timetables are already available on the Southside websites and the Hurricane.
Southside and Hurricane 2024: Watch in live stream
Both the Southside and the Hurricane were broadcast live in 2023. While the Southside live streams were broadcast by O2 Music were implemented, showed Arte Concert the concerts of Hurricane.
In 2024, RTL+ secured the rights to the Hurricane streams for the first time. You can then watch selected concerts free of charge via the browser on the RTL+ website or in the app; an RTL+ membership is not required to access the stream.
According to RTL, the following Hurricanes concerts will be broadcast live on RTL+ and will be available for a few days afterwards:

Saturday, 22 June
Sunday 23 June
This year, however, the Southside Festival will take place at Arte Concert You can watch the live stream on the station’s website and on the YouTube channel. Arte is broadcasting from Friday to Sunday from around 6 p.m. We have included the stream from day 1 below.

Selected concerts from both festivals will probably be shown on TV again. You will probably see the Southside performances again on SWR, and Hurricane will be on Now!, a free TV channel that you can receive via RTL+. As soon as there are exact dates, you will find them below.

And the next music highlight is already here! For the first time this summer, RTL+ will also be broadcasting the “Hurricane” festival in Scheeßel, Lower Saxony. The highlights on Saturday include KIZ, The Hives, Tom Odell, Avril Lavigne and Sido.

There are still tickets available for the Hurricane Festival. In the 5th price category, you pay 279 dollars for the entire Hurricane weekend. Day tickets cost 129 to 139 dollars. The Southside is already sold out.
