game news Hurry up ! Three of these iconic games are leaving Playstation Plus and are great
In recent years, the catalogs of games that accompany or are linked to subscriptions have evolved. Games come in, others only come out after more or less long availability. In August, three excellent games from the same license say goodbye to the PS Plus catalogue.
PS Plus Departures: Three Yakuza games are coming soon
In the last few days, subscribers of PS Plus Extra and Premium, i.e. the highest level of the new PS Plus, can start new games. So Sniper Elite 5, It Takes Two, Undertale and Dynasty Warriors 9 were integrated. We are now waiting to discover the list of the three monthly “offered” games, but in the meantime we have been able to discover them the list of games that will disappear
We therefore find in the Borderlands 3 lot DCL – The Game, Nidhogg, GRIP, The Crew 2, 8-Bit Armies or Carmageddon: Max Damage. If you plan to develop these games or at least try them for free on PlayStation, don’t hesitate too long. They will disappear from the Sony catalog on August 15thAfter that, you need to find other ways to play it. But other games will leave the platform. There are three and they belong to the same license.
These are Yakuza Zero: The Place of Oath, Yakuza Kiwami and Yakuza Kiwami 2. So, we are facing the prequel of the Yakuza license recently internationally renamed Like a Dragon to follow its original Japanese nameas well as remakes of the first two games. Released between 2015 and 2018, these three games will allow you to Discover the adventures of Kazuma Kiryu and Goro Majimatwo characters closely linked to the yakuza, but whose journey is fraught with pitfalls.
Must-watch titles available through other legal channels
Between power struggles, betrayals, intrigues, alliances of circumstances and ambitions, The scenario of these three titles is rich, very rich. Developing in the heart of Tokyo and Osaka allows the different characters to evolve a brilliantly staged dramatic story, but also explore and complete a number of side quests. You can dine out, discover unlikely stories, run businesses, and explore entire neighborhoods as you battle your way through one combat system
The whole ingenuity of the license consists in skilfully handling a gripping and serious scenario through integration immense, completely absurd moments. However, these games are only playable in English and Japanese, which may put some players off. If Yakuza: Like a Dragon and Judgment have had success outside of English and Japanese speaking countries, it’s thanks to the different localizations that allow a much wider audience to discover the franchise. From August 15th, Yakuza 0 and the remakes of the first two works will therefore no longer be available on PS Plus Extra and Premium, but rest assured: there are other options to play it.
You can of course look for physical copies here and there, but so are they available through Game Pass. If you’re playing on PC, you can also rotate against Steam
