Good news HyperX Cloud II Wireless Gaming Headset: We’ve never seen such value for money
There aren’t many models in the gaming headset market (wireless or not) whose name is familiar to almost anyone with a little knowledge of it. The HyperX Cloud II is one of those select few. Given the current big sale on Amazon, we think this is the best value we’ve seen in a long time.
If you’re on the hunt for a new gaming headset, there’s not much reason to go bey ond this news. The superb wireless HyperX Cloud II is currently being sold at -35% off on Amazon. As far as we can remember we have never seen this before. And we assure you that we follow the price curves very closely. Even during Black Friday, this reference headset was significantly more expensive.
We find this reference helmet around 170$ more or less everywhere. That’s its base price, and like many tech classics, the base price doesn’t move too much. Amazon has come to break that adage. At the moment, the American giant is showing the wireless Cloud 2 for $109. An exceptional value for money.

HyperX Cloud II: definitely the wireless gaming headset with the best value for money
At JV, we know this wireless gaming headset very well. We test a number of models each year, and we still think the HyperX Cloud II is THE big benchmark in its price range. And again, at the time of testing, we were talking about a helmet that costs $169. Now that it’s $109, it’s crushing the competition.
Our sound specialist has wirelessly optimized the HyperX Cloud II in every respect. He studied in depth the quality of his materials, the characteristics of the animal and its sound performance. The verdict is final: 4.5/5. So why not a perfect score when the HyperX Cloud II is that good? Quite simply because the ultimate rating is reserved for very high quality models that are 3 or 4 times more expensive.
So what to take away from the test?
- the Comfort is stunning, you can wear it for a whole day without getting painful.
- the Sign up Wireless is stable up to 10 meters.
- the Micro This wireless version corrects the microphone weaknesses of the wired version.
- Using headphones is great easy and intuitive, regardless of the platform.
- the son leaves us with an excellent overall impression, although it pushes the bass a little too far forward.

The Cloud II Wireless manages to surpass the famous wired version, especially with a real improvement in the microphone that we can now recommend for streaming. Otherwise, the headset proves above all a lot of comfort, simple but successful ergonomics and a nice sound for the ears, as long as you appreciate the emphasis on the bass. An excellent choice therefore for PS4, PS5, PC and possibly Nintendo Switch gamers.
