My Deer Friend Nocotan It looks like an anime you thought your friend made up to amuse you, but it’s very real and looks pretty wild.
How should I explain My Deer Friend Nokotan? Um… well, it’s about a high school kid. Who’s the deer-human hybrid? I guess there’s a club at school that wants to eliminate her? Also, sometimes there’s just JPEG images of real deer, sometimes CGI models, explosions, oh, and a catchy anime theme song. I don’t think that really captures it, but you can check out the trailer for yourself below. It’s a little like Pop Team Epic, a little like Everyday Life, but there’s no concept to dampen the craziness of it all.
The show’s official synopsis describes the show in more detail: “High school student Koshi Torako feels something cold on her face one day. Looking up, she finds a girl trapped, her antlers tangled in wires. Helping the peculiar antler-growing Shikanoko turns the life of Torako, who is only a model student on the outside, upside down. From here, the story of a girl (a former delinquent) and another girl (a deer?) begins, and this is the adventure story of Girl Meets Deer! ” I don’t know if that helps, but hey, when you’re about to take a ride like this, you better buckle up and go along for the ride.

You won’t have to wait that long to see My Deer Friend Nokotan either, as it’s set to be released on July 7, just over a month from release. The anime is produced by Wit Studio, which has also produced other popular anime like Spy x Family and the first three seasons of Attack on Titan, though this anime is obviously a big departure from the regular shows it produces.
