I don’t know about you, but I’ve spent so much time playing The Witcher 3 over the years that you start to feel like you know a game like the back of your hand. But I apparently don’t quite get it, because one of the game’s developers just revealed that he’s behind some of Geralt’s dialogue that I’ve never encountered, mostly because you need to have a certain mode enabled in certain scenes to do it to this point.
Yes, let the modders shamelessly restore something that CDPR created but ultimately decided not to be included in the final version of the game for whatever reason, like those boat races, to give us all a chance to see how it would go Change If it succeeds, our adventure is complete. In this case, that last part is just a good laugh.

As YouTuber xLetalis highlights in their latest video, one of the clips restored for the game’s huge Brothers in Arms mod is another result from Geralt and Yan’s quest to attend the Feast of Kael. Trod has just arrived. Skellig.
If you recall, you’ll remember that this quest involves breaking into the residence of Ermion, the most prodigious druid on the island, and that one of the traps on your way is a room filled with hallucinogens. The agent’s room resulted in Geralt having to fight some stuffed bears. In the base game you successfully murder them all, or if they do the same thing to you you suffer the usual gameplay on the screen, but if you install it this mod adds a very Interesting third option.
Basically, if half of his health is depleted, he doesn’t actually die, but is instead seen in a cutscene with a prone Geralt telling Yeon that he can’t stand up, adding in his usual deadpan tone “I’m dead, they killed me,” and then she started. Get him back on track and the cutscene continues normally. While xLetalis speculated on why CD Projekt removed it, the good news is that we now at least know who put it in in the first place.
“Oh, it’s great to see it being discovered,” said developer Pawe. Sasko, who is currently working on the sequel to Cyberpunk 2077 as associate game director, responded to the video on Twitter, “I made it in 2014 and it took you a while.” However, the details Judging, that seems to be it, so Sasko seems to like that people just don’t know why this silly little joke didn’t end up being featured on Gerry’s 60+ hour stand-up comedy tour of The River. .
