Do you like Xbox-related video games? Well, if so, you might want to tune in to the Xbox Partner Preview show announced later this week (October 17th, to be exact).
Yes, after some reveal late last month of PlayStation’s State of Play and Xbox itself during the Tokyo Game Show broadcast, it’s time to sit back, grab some popcorn and watch some video game showcases, because there’s a The little voice repeatedly whispers in your ear, “Buy it.”

This week’s Xbox Partner Preview will be 6pm BST, 7pm CET, 10am PT, 1pm ET October 17th.
What exactly will you do? Well, in a blog post announcing the show, Xbox said it will be “unveiling a dozen new trailers spanning approximately 25 minutes.”
As part of this, the publisher promises “early access to gameplay in Alan Wake 2’s next expansion, The Lake House, in an action-packed new trailer for Yakuza: Pirates of Like a Dragon launching in Hawaii , take a look at multiple bosses in the dark fantasy action game Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, multiple world premieres, and other exciting games coming to Xbox consoles, Windows PC, and Game Pass.”
So, there you have it, you’re at least guaranteed to encounter some spies and a bit of pirate Majima. To be honest, the latter is enough for me, and hopefully we’ll see some emulated maritime karaoke between now and February.
Around the same time as the reveal was announced, Xbox also revealed that Game Pass Ultimate members will be able to play Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III and more via Xbox Cloud Gaming when they launch on October 25. Call of Duty: Warzone provides cloud support for Ultimate folks, and the same thing happened that day.
