I have looked for the rarest games of the Steam demo festival, and what I have found are seven great games that you must try yes or yes

Demo, festival, Games, great, Looked, Rarest, Steam

A few days ago the Steam Next Fest and I was crazy to try how many more demos better, but lack of time has forced me to change my perspective. As there are games that I know I will end up catching yes or yes, I went into discovery mode.

The result has been seven great games that although he already had them controlled out of the corner of his eye, they were rare enough that he didn’t quite know what to expect from them. Imagine the surprise when everyone has gone head first to my wish list of Steam.

Bear and Breakfast

With a roll Gravity Falls in the visual that inevitably enters through the eyes, the main doubt with Bear and Breakfast it was how far I could get over that first impression. And boy has he done it.

With the funniest name of the year, we are presented with a management game in which to shape a country hostel in which to craft furniture and exchange the garbage left by the “my pine“For decorative objects. Very good looking.

Cats in Time

I did not have it on my radar and what a surprise it has turned out to be. A puzzle that at first reminds a little of Captain Toad, for that of being able to manipulate the stage while you rotate around it (saving a great distance for which you would undoubtedly need some new sneakers), and that then shows to go by his side without needing to approach it at all.

Ahead you have a collection of dioramas that you can manipulate by looking for lost cats by opening windows, solving small puzzles and, in essence, manipulating the environment. After the demo I discovered that Cats in Time It is also for mobiles with an augmented reality option, so there you have another excuse to give it a try.

Chernobyl Liquidators

I did not know whether to be scandalized by the murkiness of the idea or to get carried away, and in the end I have opted for the latter. To my surprise, the truth is that Chernobyl Liquidators It is more adventure than rugged simulator, so the title must go for that of scratching attention in a genre that continues to rise.

The idea is to become one of the liquidators of the nuclear accident while you go through the plant trying to save the city from the catastrophe. A macabre treat for those of us who continue to enjoy everything that has to do with getting lost in that region stopped in time and industrial architecture.

Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective

What Labyrinth City: Pierre the Maze Detective it was going to be beautiful to rage was something that did not generate the slightest of doubts. Based on children’s books by Hiro Kamigaki, my biggest question was how the complex beauty of its labyrinths was going to be transferred to the game.

And it really was not necessary to give it too much thought. With the camera as close as possible to Pierre, the idea is to find the way through the labyrinth until we reach different objectives that serve as a control point so that we do not get completely lost on the way. A thousand and one little details to click to see what happens, although they do not serve to get the ten collectibles that are hidden in each level.

Terra Nil

Another one that generated me a huge curiosity is Terra Nil, the title in which to go back in the usual industrialization process of management simulators and, instead of filling the floor with factories, do everything possible to bring a region back to life.

The demo leaves me doubtful, not because of the potential of the idea but where it will continue to grow its mechanics. Right now, with what I see, what there is is a puzzle game in which you accumulate points to get more and more green areas.

Toem

I have a devotion to photography games, so knowing the existence of Toem It took me milliseconds to jump into the demo. And what a surprise it has turned out to be. As a kind of adventure in which to explore scenarios and help other characters, the idea is to complete objectives based on photographing the environment to get enough points to jump to the next area.

Beautiful to rage and surprisingly comfortable and agile to play, something tells me that this can be a formidable well of hours in which you insist on getting all the remains before moving to a new scenario.

Unpacking

My future self may slap me the next time it has to deal with a move, but Unpacking I have fallen in love. Be careful because the idea could not be simpler, to accompany a girl through her moves while we go through the history of her life hand in hand with her objects.

Amazing how something as simple as opening boxes, collect things and place them in virtual scenarios it can be so relaxing. Just two scenarios that have made me very short but they have been enough to know that I want it for yesterday.
