The iCloud also houses other information such as device settings, app data (Pages, Keynote or third-party apps), messages, health data or the HomeKit configuration. Depending on what you store in the cloud, storage space will quickly run out.
But that’s not a problem, as you can expand the free storage space at any time for a small additional charge. Apple, for example, offers you 50 gigabytes of iCloud storage for 99 cents per month.

There are three packages available to you to expand your storage space. Apple wants 99 cents per month for 50 gigabytes, 200 gigabytes are available for 2.99 dollars and anyone who spends 9.99 dollars gets 2 terabytes of storage space from Apple (as of October 2024). You will be charged the prices until you change or cancel the storage expansion.
