As announced, Microsoft has released the [email protected] Spring Showcase on / twitchgaming and in the course of which we were able to confirm a number of new indie games for the Xbox consoles. Game Pass subscribers will also get their money’s worth again.
In the current Xbox Showcase, the indie program moved up [email protected] into the focus – and accordingly also indie games appearing above them. Microsoft has now been able to confirm over 60 new such titles for the in-house platforms Xbox One and Xbox Series X / S.
But that’s not all: 20 of these games from independent developers will appear as soon as they are released at no additional cost as part of the Xbox Game Pass. If you have subscribed to Microsoft’s game service, you can get started with these games without having to shell out additional money.
In the course of the presentation there were a number of announcements, new trailers, gameplay insights and developer interviews. The new indie highlights include the role-playing game Moonglow Bay by Coatsink Software (console – 2021), Soup Pot by Chickon Club (console, Steam – August 2021), the well-known hit Among Us by Innersloth (console, PC – 2021), the action RPG Nobody Saves the World from Drinkbox Studios (PC, console – 2021) and Twelve Minutes from Annapurna Interactive (PC, console – 2021); The latter keeps you trapped in a twelve-minute time loop in which you relive a fateful evening around an accusation of murder by your wife over and over again.
