One of the most controversial AAA games of 2024 – Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League – is now available at an absolutely massive discount on Steam. You can buy Rocksteady Games' live-service DC action game right now for an eye-popping 95% off. It normally costs £59, but you can own it now for just £2.99.
This discount has been in effect since last week, and the game currently remains at a significantly reduced price. The game is in its third season of post-launch content, and it's pretty rich right now. Of course, not only is the entire base game still there, but you also get some new characters, including the Joker, Mr. Freeze, and Lawless. Each of the three characters has their own story content, and of course there are new areas and weapons to play with.

Prior to this release, the game had an average number of players on Steam of about 100. You know, that's not good. But since that sale, that number has surged to a peak of 2,561, which isn't too bad. That number pales in comparison to the game's peak of 13,459 when it first launched, but it does likely indicate that a significant number of new players are willing to give the game a try.
To be sure, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is one of the biggest flops of the year. Considering the investment and funding put into the game, these numbers clearly don't line up with what Rocksteady and Warner Bros. had in mind. When it finally launched, the game felt limited by its live-service components and failed to win over hearts and minds. But with such a huge discount, any game is worth trying. Who knows? Maybe you'll dig it.
