The first part was one of those games that I will not hide that caused me too much rejection at first glance. I kept thinking that walking and walking wasn't for me, but everyone who had tried it highly recommended it to me. For this reason, when I decided to really play it, I couldn't agree more that it is a true masterpiece, which is why I played it completely twice, once on PC and once on PS5, and on both occasions I enjoyed the experience tremendously, so I don't rule out going for a third time before the sequel arrives.
Being able to do missions however you want, plan routes, having to find your way to get ahead and at the same time face numerous adversities, has been something that has kept me glued to the controls for dozens and dozens of hours. Maybe the story is one of those that makes your head explode with so many things they tell you, but that doesn't mean that I'm looking forward to knowing more details about the plot of this chapter and finding out what new things it will present. Of course, as long as Death Stranding 2 is just as good as its predecessor, it is clear to me that it will be one of the great games of 2025.
