WWE 2K24
After a somewhat complicated period, the WWE 2K saga was finally taken over by Visual Concepts (the studio behind NBA 2K) and since then it is clear that things are going much better. Fans of fights in tight tights and other tricks will be pleased to know that WWE 2K24 will be debuting its first German Flexiblex earlier this month, featuring not just one Superstar, but three: Cody Rhodes, Bianca Belaire and Rhea Ripley will introduce themselves in a special mode that allows you to authentically discover their respective careers. There are of course a plethora of other modes, such as a tribute to WrestleMania, My ASCENSION, My FACTION, My MG and many others, as well as an ultra-packed cast : You shouldn’t be disoriented if you know a little about wrestling games.

Cons: Operation Galuga
offered to the whole world and heralded the beginning of a cult saga signed by Konami: if you want to treat yourself to a nice cure of nostalgia or simply discover this classic, then this Contra Operation Galuga should fully satisfy you. This is a thoughtful remake designed by WayForward (Advance Wars 1+2 Re-Boot Camp, BloodRayne Betrayal Fresh Bites and Shantae and the Seven Sirens), a studio that knows how to do old-school stuff: So we will find a 2D action and shooter game that is ultra awesome but really entertaining and can be played alone or in collaboration for up to four people! If a redesign is required, we are entitled to modern graphics but also new content such as new levels and never-before-seen enemies. In short, it looks very effective and it’s not like the license hasn’t proven itself so far.

Star Wars: Battlefront Classic Collection
In 2004 and 2005, Star Wars released some of the best video games it has ever released: Star Wars Battlefront and Star Wars Battlefront 2. Anyone who has had a PC, PS2 or Xbox has these iconic titles that make it dared to offer, perhaps already touched it extremely epic and large-scale battles: whether in the shoes of a stormtrooper (back then it was a TPS), a Jedi or a Sith (with close combat gameplay) or in space at the controls of a spaceship, these little wonders from LucasArt amazed us. The Aspyr studio will therefore be offering good news in March a revamped compilation with bonus content (maps and heroes), the return of campaign mode… and, most importantly, online multiplayer matches for up to 64 players. If you were disappointed not to have had an experience worthy of the 2000s in recent Battlefronts, this Classic Collection will be a real treat.

Alone in the dark
Before Resident Evil, there was a first horror game that gave a lot of goosebumps: It was called Alone in the Dark, released in 1992 and, what’s more, it was French! Well, since then the water has flown under the bridge and after a few episodes, what has become a real franchise has clearly run out of steam… only to start over with a vengeance. In fact, this founding work will soon benefit from a complete reissue, a real reinvention of the myth that obviously arouses curiosity. In the role of Edward Carnby (played by David Hardbour) or Emily Hartwood (Jodie Comer), our protagonists enter the impressive Derceto Manor to solve an investigation inspired by noir thrillers that certainly has a touch of the spooky supernatural. Terrible action, puzzles and a twisted plot await us, and we’re clearly keeping our fingers crossed that it’ll be a nice surprise.

Dragon’s Dogma II
Hideaki Itsuno is clearly a great man in video games, he who took over the Devil May Cry saga from its second work to bring it to the top: however, you should know that his real dream was always to make a video game create Fantasy action RPG with online mechanics, which he only managed to do a good ten years ago with the first Dragon’s Dogma. Here he is back with a sequel that promises to be nothing short of excellent: Even more ambitious, grandiose, deeper, more beautiful (thanks, RE Engine) and more edgy: there is something about Dragon’s Dogma II that catches the eye and is definitely one to look at like burning milk. Capcom is definitely continuing its very good momentum!

South Park: Snow Day!
There have been a handful of South Park video games since the end of the 90s, but it was primarily with the RPGs The Stick of Truth and The Annal of Destiny that the saga received its video game nobility. : here, with Snow Day!, the recipe is significantly different since we’re dealing with it an action-adventure game… and in 3D ! We play as “the new kid in South Park” and have to celebrate “Snow Day” together with Cartman, Stan, Kyle and Kenny and save the city from chaos. A title that can be played alone but also with others in the cooperation of up to four players, with many melee or ranged weapons, powers and a series of enemies and bosses to break your ankles. We are particularly curious.
