Outriders: Cinematic trailer for the co-op shooter shows us more of the expansive game world
Shortly before the release tomorrow, Thursday, April 1st at 6 p.m., the Polish developer People Can Fly via the Twitter Post the system requirements for Outriders.
And they really have it all: If you want to play the gloomy co-op shooter in 4K / UHD resolution with the highest level of detail and ideally of course with 60 frames per second, you need a real monster PC.

Outriders: preload, day 1 patch and start time
4K requires RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT
Windows 10 as a minimum requirement should come as no surprise, neither is the 70.0 GByte hard drive. So far, the requirements are the same for all levels of resolution and detail.
For 4K / UHD, however, you need one of the two very heavily and if so, then only accelerators Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT, which are available at extremely high prices. The whole paired with an Intel Core i7 10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X.
2160p / 60 FPS, Ultra Preset:
- CPU: Intel Core i7 10700K or AMD Ryzen 7 3700X
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce RTX 3080 or AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT
- RAM: 16,0 GByte
- DirectX: Version 12
- YOU: Windows 10

Full HD with GTX 1070 and RX Vega 56
The system requirements are noticeably more moderate below 4K / UHD, but they are still tough. For high detail settings (high preset) on Full HD including 60 FPS you need at least a Geforce GTX 1070 or a Radeon RX Vega 56 plus a Core i7 7700 or Ryzen 5 2600X.
1080p / 60 FPS, High Preset:
- CPU: Intel Core i7 7700 or AMD Ryzen 5 2600X
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 1070 or AMD Radeon RX Vega 56
- RAM: 16,0 GByte
- DirectX: Version 12

720p with GTX 750 Ti and R9 270X
The minimum requirements are only relatively “frugal” at a low level of detail and 720p resolution – that is, for normal HD without “full”. A Geforce GTX 750 Ti or a Radeon R9 270X and a Core i5 3470 or FX 8350 are sufficient.
720p / 60 FPS, Low Preset:
- CPU: Intel Core i5 3470 or AMD FX 8350
- GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX 750 Ti or AMD Radeon R9 270X

We do not currently know whether and to what extent technologies such as Nvidia’s DLSS play a role in system requirements. We will take a closer look at Outriders in a separate article and will keep you updated.
