I will be clean. I’m writing this before publication because I’m going on vacation. I usually take a few minutes to come up with a brilliant way to get into the topic of this week’s podcast. It’s usually very exciting and hilarious.
My relationship with podcast articles is complicated. It’s not easy. It needs work to be at its best. You can’t show up and hope for a great podcast article without trying.
Sometimes I even do a small ceremony before writing an essay to show how serious I am about writing it. This is a big deal, so I have to make sure I’ve thought about it correctly. But I don’t do that today for the vacation reasons I mentioned above – I’m on vacation after writing this article, which has nothing to do with the topic of the podcast.

We’ve included some details on the show’s content below (if you want a refresher for a great, thoughtful post before heading over to the review, or don’t want to hear but want to know which games we’ve picked), so if you want to avoid Spoilers, please don’t scroll through this fan-made Chris Bratt look if he’s a Super Mario Odyssey Mario Wedding Amiibo. The best game with weddings in it
This is the subject of episode 15 of iGamesNews’s Best Gaming Podcast of All Time. Here’s a rundown of who chose what.
Tom – Super Mario Odyssey
I think it’s the best wedding scene in a video game, not only because of the journey on the moon, but also because of the action sequences that follow and Peach’s decisions at the end of it all. Absolutely brilliant, for example, anyone who chooses a farming game over this one is wrong.
Alex – Final Fantasy IX
This is Alex, the resident JRPG fan/nerd. It’s definitely not Tom pretending to be Alex. Final Fantasy Rules! All JRPGs are great, but Final Fantasy IX is even better, thanks to its wedding sequence. Turn-based weddings are the best!
Kelsey – Stardew Valley
Stardew Valley is a stylized farming simulator that combines everything from games like Harvest Moon, Rune Factory, and more. However, harvesting crops and working tirelessly in the mines is not all you have to do in this simulation game. There are also 12 marriage candidates to choose from, meet and live happily ever after until you divorce them so you can marry another person. Not only do you have to be a farmer, you can also be a serial wedding.
