iGamesNews The Best Gaming Podcast Ever – Episode 6: What the Uninitiated Think You’ve Made Up the Best Game

Someone please save me from writing here every week. Is there any artificial intelligence that can do this, albeit without my amazing sense of humor? Our game lets you explore procedurally generated worlds! Someone programmatically generated some words for me! on that happy note, iGamesNews The best gaming podcast ever Comeback, episode 6. I worried this week that we couldn’t put ourselves in the shoes of ordinary civilians, and we were the superstar gaming reporter types, but my concerns were unfounded. That’s right, it’s time for the uninformed to think the best game you’ve ever made.

“What’s iGamesNews’s best gaming podcast ever?” you ask. I’m not sure what I want to tell you. Why don’t you take the chance to find out for yourself? Each episode of the Best Games Ever Podcast is only about 30 minutes long, so what have you got to lose? It’s definitely better than an episode of The Oriental (for our American readers, it’s a horrible London soap opera).

Hope you find room for it in your podcast listening schedule. Isn’t it great to be there when great things start? To be able to tell your friends and family that you were there when Jim, Tom, and the rest were in obscurity instead of being millionaires? Also, hope you have some fun in half an hour.

Check out iGamesNews’s The Best Games Ever Podcast on Apple Podcasts and subscribe. Or listen on Spotify. It’s even on YouTube if that’s your thing. Be sure to let us know what you think of the show – if this is your first time listening, come back and listen to the previous episodes. We’ll probably get better as we progress, so episode 1 isn’t likely to be as smooth and professional as the latest shows, but they’re not hits, so you can listen to them in any order you like.

We’ve included some details on the show’s content below (if you want a refresher for a great, thoughtful post before heading over to the comments), so don’t scroll through this fan if you want to avoid spoilers The content produced creates the look of a Mario movie starring mixed Chris Bratt/Chris Pratt with a cameo from Wayne Rooney (Friends Supporting iGamesNews, People Make Games, Patreon).

Chris Bratt from People Make Games plays Mario while merging with Chris Pratt and being watched by Wayne Rooney.

The uninformed will think you’re the best game ever made

This is the subject of episode six of iGamesNews’s Best Gaming Podcast of All Time. Here’s a rundown of who chose what.

Tom – ride your friend

A true classic from the era of Xbox Live Arcade, back in the days of Xbox 360. This multiplayer party game requires you to master a tricky scheme of individual limb control to climb up your friends and reach a higher point than them. It’s a fixed all-around timer, but does it win this very specific category?

Alex – Katamari Damacy

When you think of wacky video games, Katamari Damacy is probably near your brain. This hilarious game is essentially built around a simple idea: roll up objects to make a big ball. That’s it. It’s great. It helps that the game has one of the best soundtracks ever, and you can now play a version of it on almost every platform available.

Connor – Dongdong Never Dies

Yes, Connor isn’t here to explain this to me, so please watch the video above. It’s a fighting game unlike anything you’ve seen before. Enough said.

If you think Jim must be stopped at all costs, let us know which game you would choose. If you like the podcast, please subscribe and leave a comment saying how great it is and tell all your friends. Post a tweet about it, post it on Facebook, print out a copy of the podcast URL and put them on a park bench.

Check back in a week for another episode of iGamesNews’s Best Gaming Podcast Ever.

If you want more podcasts, you can probably do worse than check out our friends who have an electronic wireless show at Rock Paper Shotgun. Eurogamer has two shows (greedy!), Digital Foundry has DF Direct, Dicebreaker covers the world of tabletop gaming, and External Xbox has many with the Oxventure – A Dungeons & Dragons Podcast.
