Are you nostalgic for Windows 98? Do you own an Xbox series? It might be time to start looking for a monitor to connect your console to: one gamer managed to get Microsoft’s legacy operating system on his Xbox Series S to play games from the late 1990s.

The Xbox series is known in the retrogaming world for offering solutions to replay old games thanks to the “developer”. This mode provides the ability to install applications without going through the Microsoft Store. This project aims to be able to play old DOS and Windows titles from the 1990s thanks to DOSBox Pure, which is used here because it brings various improvements to old PC games on the Xbox series.
