It’s been eight years since the last Civilization. 4X global strategies that are about the history of humanity have been rare since then, and good implementations are even rarer. And Millennia may not look like a good alternative at first glance. And especially at the beginning it plays differently than a Civ. But on the one hand, Millennia doesn’t want to be a Civ clone, but has its own mechanics and game goals.
