In Mount & Blade 2 you can improve the reputation of your entire clan. You can fight in epic battles, start a family and father a baby. Or you just start the game yourself as a baby.
There is a very simple trick that may not make your experience with Mount & Blade 2 more realistic, but it is funny to scream at. When creating a character, you can quickly transform yourself into a toddler and start the game.
How does the baby trick work
If you want to play as a baby, you have to do not do much more than hammering the "R" key when creating characters. Your figure will immediately shrink and lose all of its hair.
In the next steps you can see how the baby is gradually growing, but as soon as you have reached the end of the creation, the bald dwarf is back again. If you then start the game, you are also a baby in the game world.
What can the baby do?
The baby is basically just another character model for your hero. That means it can do anything else you do. Even the size of the different armor is adjusted to your tiny shape. Do you want a toddler in plate armor? No problem!
Apparently this is actually a bug. Or the developers simply have a good sense of humor. If it is a bug, it could be fixed soon. So if you want to try to make a baby king of Calradia yourself, it's best to hurry up a bit.
Of course, you would have to buy Mount & Blade 2 first. If you are still wondering whether this is worthwhile, our early access overview may help you further. Or you study our large plus preview for Mount & Blade 2 in detail.
