New World wants to offer its players some innovations this year. The MMO should be kept fresh with regular seasons, even a season pass is included. We have all the information about the next big update, but also the roadmap for the rest of the year ready for you.

What’s in the Seasons?
Every 3 months, New World should get a new season to start with camaraderie and fire
on March 28th. More about the first season read below.
New quests, items, skins and usually a new story await you there, most of which you can only experience in the respective seasons. New expeditions are also often part of the party. There’s also a dewy season pass every three months:
What’s in the Season Pass?
There should be 100 levels per season pass. Here’s what you can unlock in the first few.
You can unlock some content during your playtime in the new Season Pass. Either you play sparingly and can bag a few items in the Free Pass, or you spend some money to get your hands on additional items in the Premium Pass.
- How much does the Premium Pass cost? You have to put 20,000 lucky tokens, New World’s in-game currency, on the table. That equates to about $20. By the way, if you play through the Premium Pass completely, you will get back 7500 lucky tokens – of which 2500 lucky tokens belong to the Free Pass.
- What’s in it? In addition to the lucky tokens already mentioned, there are also new skins, pets, weapons and armor in the season pass. The weapons and equipment that are behind the paywall can also be unlocked in the normal game – just not with the special skin.
- How do I level up? There are several ways to climb the Season Pass podium. From level 25 you can participate and get progress through the new story, certain challenges and normal gameplay activities like fighting. There’s also a kind of bingo mini-game that you can also use to level up in the Season Pass. You can see what that looks like here:
If you complete four challenges in a row, you get a bonus – similar to bingo.
The first season: camaraderie and fire
New Story: A new story awaits you in which you will see a mercenary force named silver crows
compiles. The first customer is also a well-known personality: Skye, the spear daughter needs your help to stop a powerful sorcerer.
New Expedition: For players level 60 or higher, the Empyrean Forge is waiting to be discovered. With a knight of Artorius you go into the gorge to stop a mysterious stream of magic.
Old stories retold: The main storylines in Weaver’s Moor and Lightwood have been reworked. There is now a new story in the areas, more variety in the tasks and more surprises

Other innovations: There’s also a new Heart Gem ability, a new gear set cache, and more seasonal events like Spring Blossom to match the upcoming season.

In the second season some new content will be added, for example the possibility to set the external appearance independently of the armor values (transmog). In autumn, some people will definitely be happy about the mounts, so that their feet don’t hurt so much from the endless running. As is also noted in the picture: The planning can still change in the course of the year. So it’s better to wait patiently and don’t be too disappointed if content is postponed or is no longer available.
