Rainbow Six: Siege has struggled with cheaters for quite some time. They fly, see through walls, hit every target or have significantly more life points – you know that. But there is a cheat currently circulating that is highly unusual… and it has to do with chickens and penises.
If you come across one of these hackers, a large image will occasionally pop up in your game during the match and block your view. Most of the time it’s a cartoon chicken, but it wouldn’t be the internet if there weren’t some images of penises underneath it too.
You can see what that looks like (with the chicken, not the genitals!) in the following video:

Why now?
Rainbow Six: Siege has been on the market for over seven years, but the unusual cheat only recently appeared. The reason for this is probably the new update: Season 4 has only been on the market for a few weeks and, in addition to some major changes, has also redesigned the main menu and the HUD. Ubisoft may have made a mistake there, at least that’s what Streamer Uplynxed suspects on Twitter:

What can I do against it?
According to Uplynxed, Ubisoft recently fixed the problem themselves, but if you want to be on the safe side, here’s a trick you can use to keep the chickens off your screen:
- Go to the Rainbow Six Siege settings menu and click
HUD
- Scroll down to the sub-item
Match Information
– toggles the tabBans
out. This means that the numerous bans against cheaters are no longer displayed on the side, but that no unwanted images appear on your monitor.
The Snow Brawl Christmas campaign, in which you take part in a snowball fight, is also currently running in Siege. If you don’t want to miss the most important winter events of other games, we offer you an overview here:
