How the Jump Points work
There will be a fixed jump point between Stanton and Pyro and several that will only be available for certain periods of time.
Prerequisites for using the Jump Points:
- Your ship needs a jump drive and enough quantum fuel
- Size of the drive and amount of fuel depend on the size of the ship
- Flight safety control must clear you for the jump
- If your criminality status is level 3 or higher, you are not allowed to jump
- You have to bring your ship to the jump point manually, during the jump you are in navigation mode

Using the jump points is not entirely without risk. Because Pyro is supposed to be a bit like the Wild West of Star Citizen, the danger on arrival is actually quite fitting – anyone visiting the new star system is looking for an adventure. The release of Alpha 4.0 is officially planned for the third quarter of 2024.
