As part of the THQ Showcase, the development studio Three Fields Entertainment presented their latest project. In the arcade racing game Wreckreation, you can not only race in a huge open world, you can also create slopes yourself – and rebuild them during the race.
But first make an impression for yourself and watch the trailer:

Wreckreation: Trailer shows the enormous possibilities of the new sandbox racing game
What we know about Wreckreation so far:
The game world: Three Fields Entertainment offers us a huge open world to explore. A total of 440 kilometers of roads lead through the country. Above all, you will find beaches, forests and meadows there, but not big cities.
The self-made routes: As you can already see in the trailer, the core of the game doesn’t just take place on the ground: you can freely design your own slopes, build in loops and ski jumps and even place huge animals in the middle of the road. Of course, you can also share the course with other players and ride it together.

But you also have the option of rebuilding or expanding tracks in live mix mode while other players are on the slopes and racing for victory. You can see a brief insight into the game mode at the end of the trailer.
Arcade racer experience
The development studio already has a lot of expertise in racing games. Three Fields Entertainment founders Alex Ward and Fiona Sperry worked on the Burnout series at Criterion Games before opening their studio in 2014. Since then, Three Fields Entertainment has also released other arcade racers with Dangerous Driving and Danger Zones 1 and 2.
A release period is not yet known for Wreckreation. If you don’t want to miss any announcements from the THQ Nordic Showcase, be sure to check out our overview of the event.
