Bargain hunters know: Prices on Steam reliably drop in the middle of the week! And so it is again this time. During Midweek Madness on Steam there are discounts on lots of games, but it’s easy to lose track.
We looked at which of the currently reduced titles are really worth it and came across 14 game gems that we would definitely recommend to you. It may well be that many of these games are discounted for even longer than stated on the product page. After all, the big spring sale starts on March 14th and that could mean a new discount.
Highlight of the week: Starfield

Starfield – test video for the open world space playground
The comments section is probably already on fire, but we’ll take that in stride at this point. Because yes, Starfield certainly didn’t become the role-playing game that many Bethesda fans actually wanted. The disappointment is also clearly visible in the Steam reviews, for example. But if you take a few steps back and look at this game regardless of your own expectations, then it is definitely an experience worth playing.
It is not without reason that we rated the space adventure with 81 points in the test and is therefore definitely considered an above-average role-playing game. The art of Starfield lies above all in breaking away from the traditional Bethesda way of playing. In Starfield you shouldn’t expect to roam the world completely freely and always experience new adventures.
Starfield especially shines when you specifically side with a faction and really motivate yourself to quest instead of constantly wandering around aimlessly. Because this massive universe with its over 1000 accessible planets is simply too big for that. Instead, head to the really magnificent space cities, talk to people, help them with small problems. When Starfield is allowed to tell stories, it shines the most and can motivate for weeks.
During Midweek Madness, Starfield is currently cheaper than ever – although still not an absolute bargain.
