The tactical nuclear bomb belongs to the Modern Warfare series like the Master Sword to The Legend of Zelda. After the mushroom cloud failed to appear in CoD’s first Battle Royale, you can now blow up the entire Al Mazrah map in Warzone 2 with the push of a button.
Less than a week after the release, the world’s first weapon of mass destruction was detonated in the game. The streamers Wagnificent, EthanStellar and opmarked have accomplished this endeavor – how exactly is unclear.
By the way: Although Warzone 2 is played diligently on Steam, the Steam reviews are devastating. You can find out why in the following article:

Criticism hailed on Steam: “Even free is still too expensive”
How was the nuke ignited?
Since the team streamed the entire round, it’s actually easy to follow the steps. While still on the plane, the players were shown the info screen that the Champions Quest
now be available.
There were three golden Warzone icons on the map where the event could apparently be started – which of course the squad did directly. The team then collected the three chemicals needed to assemble the nuke: tritium, beryllium and plutonium. But one of the materials already revealed the location of the streamers to all opponents, so the mission was certainly not easy. Plutonium also dealt permanent damage to the possessor.
Having collected all the chemicals, Wagnificent and Co. set out to complete the explosive device. The bomb then had to be defended for another two minutes. Eventually the nuke went up though, all opponents were razed to the ground in one fell swoop and the team enjoyed the following victory screen:

How do you start the Champions Quest?
So the flow during the round is pretty clear, only the beginning raises questions. How and why the event was available to the team in the first place isn’t entirely obvious. However, there is a guess.
Supposedly you must have already bagged five victories in Warzone 2, so that the conditions for the Champions Quest are met. In any case, it is certain that this will not remain an isolated case. Namely, Raven Software has per Twitter reacts and asks who will fire the next nuke. So expect many more nuclear bombs to fall on Al Mazrah in the near future.
