Warning, spoilers for Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree ahead.
Bad news, everyone. If you’ve been dreaming of becoming the hardest boss killer in Elden Ring, you’re going to have to do a lot to surpass what one streamer just did to our good friend Messmer.
No, don’t worry, we’re not here to tell you that the no-punch saxophone session we reported on the other day has somehow been completed. Instead, this is another course on Elden Ring mastery, taught by someone who has already used a dance mat to quickly complete the DLC, presumably because they got kicked out of their local Zumba class for being too awesome.

You may have heard of Miss Mikkaa. In addition to her “regular” dance pads like the DLC we mentioned, she can also defeat Elden Ring bosses in two different ways at the same time, because multitasking is an important skill to develop, yo.
Let’s get straight to the point. Her most recent feat was beating Messmer on both PC and PS5 simultaneously (thanks, GamesRadar). That is, she played two copies of the game on both devices at once – one via a dance mat (because of course) and one via a controller – and won both simultaneous battles against the snake-man. Never mind, I don’t know how to feel about this either.

Since it took MissMikkaa “3 streams, 8 hours, and 136 attempts” to get this done, I guess I can only say that I’m impressed by them, because frankly, their unending dedication to FromSofting is beyond words and a little scary.
If people like Messmer and Malenia, you know, actual demigods, have to cower in front of the streamer, then what about the rest of us if she actually turns her dance pad and controller on us? I know we’re not characters in a video game, but this kind of thing still keeps me up at night.
If you’re still struggling to make your way through Shadow of the Erdtree and need some help, first of all, I’m really sorry that I may have made you feel as bad at Elden Ring as I did, and be sure to check out our ton of guides that should be able to help you no matter what you need help with.
