Indiana Jones: Series. Novels, comics – they still exist!
In addition to the official film series, there is also a television series called The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones starring Corey Carrier as Indiana Jones aged 8-10, Sean Patrick Flanery in the same role aged 17-21 and George Hall as Indy in his 93-95 old man days. Harrison Ford can also be seen as 51-year-old Indiana Jones.
The series ran from 1992 to 1993 and received critical acclaim. George Lucas himself created the series and wanted to produce a kind of entertaining history lesson for children through “The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones”.
However, ratings were poor and the series was canceled after two seasons. From 1994 to 1996, four more television films were made about the young Indiana Jones.
In addition to the series created by George Lucas, over 40 novels, numerous comics and computer games have also been published about “Indiana Jones”. However, George Lucas usually had nothing to do with these.
