DMZ is supposed to be the new mode in this year Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 hot, if you believe insiders. And it would make sense anyway, after all, the latest shooter trend after Battle Royale has long been on the horizon.
DMZ is said to be a mode that draws a lot of inspiration from Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown. Enter an open game world with expensive equipment, loot a lot of new stuff and in the end disappear alive through an exit – without being blown out of your boots by the other players, of course.
Now there is the CoD insider TheGhostOfHope
more details on the new Tarkov mode price, the more tactical than the usual CoD gameplay shall be. Of course, this is not official information. But the leaker has already made correct predictions in the past.
Release als Beta?
The insider claims to have learned from an internal, anonymous source that the DMZ mode should be on board with the release of CoD Modern Warfare 2. However, it should be one unfinished beta version act. Doesn’t sound far-fetched, after all, Activision already took this path with the Battle Royale mode Blackout, which appeared in 2018 as part of CoD: Black Ops 4.

This high risk already provides a lot of excitement in Escape from Tarkov and Hunt: Showdown. If you want to survive, you must not run and shoot through the botany in the typical CoD style, otherwise the lights will go out faster than with Captain Price on a night mission.
Rather, players must think and act methodicallyto remain unnoticed for as long as possible. And ideally recognize dangers before they get into danger themselves. This leads to highly tactical gameplay with Tarkov and Co. – and also with DMZ, if the insiders are right.
