In this country, not a few users are already in the realm of dreams. Instagram has also opted for deep sleep, the app and website are down, nothing works anymore.

Very few users in this country will notice anything about the apparently worldwide disruption of Instagram. However, we can confirm: Instagram is down.

After midnight on Sunday night, the website remains completely blank when viewed on a desktop device. The app, on the other hand, loads on the smartphone and starts as usual, but only with videos that are already in the smartphone’s cache.

Neither new videos nor the feed can be loaded, the connection to the server is apparently disrupted. “Unable to connect to the server” and “Sorry, an error has occurred” are two of the error messages you may encounter when trying to load new content.

No further information is known about the extent and cause of the disruption. It is therefore not yet possible to predict how long the disruption will last. We’ll update this article as soon as there’s news.
