Captain America 4 is officially confirmed!

Just in time for the grand finale of the premiere of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”, Disney and Marvel Studios have officially commissioned a fourth movie about Captain America. “Captain America 4” is coming, like the industry paper The Hollywood Reporter reported.

Production and casting of “Captain America 4”

The cast of the upcoming MCU film is not yet known, but it is likely that Anthony Mackie will continue to play the role of Captain America. Sebastian Stan also seems likely to return as “Winter Soldier” Bucky Barnes.

“Captain America 4” will be written by Malcolm Spellman, the series creator of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”. Spellman is supported by Dalan Musson, who wrote the script for the celebrated 5th episode of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier”. A director has not yet been determined.

When will “Captain America 4” appear?

The announcement of “Captain America 4” does not exclude the possibility that there will be an additional second season of “The Falcon and The Winter Soldier” in the future. The 4th Cap movie now has priority and will appear first – presumably in 2023 at the earliest.
