New World Interactive continues to deliver fresh content for the shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm. There is now a new update with a map and new weapons.
Together with Focus Entertainment, New World Interactive has now released the fresh game update version 1.16 called “Operation: Crisis” for the shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm. The content patch is now available for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, Epic Games Store).
The free update offers you all sorts of new game content, including a new map called “Trainyard”. There are also new weapons on board and there are cosmetic DLC packages; the latter, however, are subject to a fee unless you have already purchased the Year 3 Pass or the Ultimate Edition.

The map is inspired by the Gulf War, and the two new weapons are precision rifles. The Security’s TAC-338 is an American precision rifle with 70mm ammunition, known from the film “American Sniper”. On the opposite side of the battlefield, the Insurgents are equipped with the L96A1, a British long-range rifle.
