New World Interactive continues to screw in fresh content for the shooter Insurgency: Sandstorm and heralds the second content year with a free new game mode.
Together with Focus Entertainment, developer New World recently brought Insurgency: Sandstorm to consoles. This is celebrated afterwards not only with a fresh trailer, but also with a free update and cosmetic sets. Both are initially available for the PC version, but the console versions should follow quickly.
The “Operation: Warlord” update also marks the start of the second year with post-launch content in the shooter. The free patch includes the new Ambush game mode, in which you have to either protect or kill a VIP. The new “Gap” map is also played. In addition to new cosmetic items, you also have two fresh guns at your disposal.
In addition to these free items, there is also the new paid “Praetorian Set Bundle”. This includes four new warlord-style armor and weapon sets. The premium items are the first part of the Year 2 Pass; Gold Edition owners can also obtain this content free of charge.
If you haven’t hit the console yet, you can get Insurgency: Sandstorm currently with a discount of 50 percent.
