In a retro universe inspired in particular by Duke Nukem 3D, the heroine of Ion Fury will venture on our consoles in a few days, accompanied by a limited physical edition post-launch.
Already released on PC last year after an early access phase, Ion Fury is interested in Shelly Harrison, responsible for thwarting the plans of the evil Dr. Jadus Heskel. With this title, 3D Realms and the Voidpoint studio wanted to offer an experience worthy of the flagship productions of their catalog, like Duke Nukem 3D and Shadow Warrior published in the 90s. The same game engine, a little boosted, is actually used.
This new port should run at 60 frames per second on PS4 and Xbox One and will benefit from localization in French, English, Spanish and Russian.
Ion Fury launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch on May 14, 2020. A limited physical edition including artbook and stickers will be launched on June 26 and will concern PC platforms (€ 24.99), PlayStation 4 (€ 24.99) and Nintendo Switch (€ 29.99) for the moment.
