Vaas Montenegro is a pretty cool pig. Despite or just because he wants us on Far Cry 3, he is one of the most popular villains in the Ubisoft shooter series. This is, of course, largely thanks to his actor and voice actor Michael Mando, who is on Reddit now the return of Vaas touched on Has.
Vaas returns for Far Cry?
Michael Mando hosted an AMA on Reddit on April 21, 2020. It was primarily about questions about his role in the breaking bad prequel Better Call Saul, but his role as Vaas Montenegro in Far Cry 3 was also discussed.
When asked whether the actor from films like Spider-Man: Homecoming or TV series like Orphan Black would still be recognized as Vaas, he replied as follows:
"Thank you very much [for the praise]! Vaas is something like my Spirit Animal. Being involved in creating the character is something I will always be proud of. I am still recognized for Vaas and find out how much people appreciate this character – that makes me incredibly happy. And who knows: maybe I will return in this role soon? "
Michael Mando's clear words leave little room for speculation: That he returns as the Far Cry villain Vaas Montenegro seems almost confirmed. Because of the lasting impression that Vaas left in Far Cry 3, overshadowing other villains like Joseph Seed or even Pagan Min.
The only question is for which Michael Mando Vaas would like to embody again: A new Far Cry game, a new edition of Part 3 or something completely different?
Is Ubisoft working on a new Far Cry?
The most obvious assumption would of course be that Ubisoft is working on a new part of the Far Cry series. With Far Cry 5 the last main part appeared in March 2018, the last spin-off New Dawn was published in February 2019.
With a look at Ubisoft's previous release schedule of new Far Cry games, it cannot be ruled out that a new Far Cry announced soon becomes. And the villain portrayed by Michael Mando could once again be involved.
Vaas blessed the timing at halftime of Far Cry 3, but fans speculated whether his death by Jason Brody's hand would not be as final as originally thought.
Due to the sheer popularity of the character, it shouldn't surprise anyone that Ubisoft Vaas should simply revive it. Vaas still hangs his Far Cry colleagues in numerous top lists and fan votes.

What else could Michael Mando return for as Vaas?
Michael Mando may also have indicated that we were involved in a New edition of Far Cry 3 be seen again. However, it would not be absolutely necessary for him to slip into the role of the video game villain again.
Another option would be one Film or TV projectthat had something to do with Far Cry: In the meantime a Far Cry series was planned, but it would have been an animation spin-off for the DLC expansion Blood Dragon.
Incidentally, there is already a mini series for Far Cry 3, in which Michael Mando spreads fear and terror as Vaas and is completely visible on YouTube:
Similarly, it cannot be ruled out that Michael Mando for one Fan project when Vaas returns to Montenegro, which is not directly related to Ubisoft productions. Perhaps the actor was won over to Uncharted for a fan film similar to Nathan Fillion?
